Minimum Eligibility:
Candidates must be Indian citizens. A domicile in Uttar Pradesh is generally required to claim reservation benefits.
The typical range for outsourced staff is 18 to 45 years, though specific technical or administrative roles often require candidates to be between 21 and 40 years. A 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit is typically provided for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of U.P.
All recruitment through UPCOS strictly follows the state’s reservation policy: SC (21%), OBC (27%), EWS (10%), and ST (2%).
Payment Tracking:
UPCOS mandates that all salaries must be credited by the 5th of every month.
Verification: The outsourcing agency must submit a "Payment Compliance Certificate" to the government department.
The Check: If your salary is not credited by the 5th, the agency faces automatic financial penalties, and a grievance is automatically flagged in the UPCOS monitoring system.
Employees can track their earnings through the UP Sewayojan Portal or the specific portal provided by their service agency.
Your pay slip will show the Gross Salary vs. Net Take-Home.
Deductions: for employee's share of EPF (12%) and ESI (0.75%). Any other "service fee" or "registration charge" deducted from the salary is illegal.
Employees can independently track if the agency is actually depositing the benefits.
EPF (Provident Fund): Use the EPFO Unified Portal or the UMANG App. Log in with your UAN (Universal Account Number) to see monthly deposits.
ESI (Insurance): Use the ESIC IP Portal with his Insurance Number to track his medical coverage status.
